In the sloka, “Paritranaya Sadhunam..”, Our Lord mentioned that he will return again and again to protect the Sadhus and destroy the wicked. Along the same lines, it gives us immeasurable joy, when his story gets repeatedly presented in different media.

This book is precise, concise, and attractive enough for young readers to know about the birth & playful activities of Lord Krishna. In 14 small chapters, the story until the end of Kamsa has been portrayed very well. One can feel the Bhakti, the underlying tone, from start to end.

A special word of mention should be made about the illustrations by Sri K.Govindaraj. They look divine, and lively and keep us engaged at all times. It would not be an exaggeration if I mention that it took a lot of effort to pry oneself away from the pictures and focus on the text.
