Recommendations to ICC

Hi ICC,
Some recommendations :
1. It is time to have female umpires in the men’s game in all the ICC tournaments
2. Since T20/slam-bang cricket is posing lots of dangers to the members in front of the batsman — the straight umpire and the bowler. Let all the umpires be provided with the shield to defend themselves and helmets should be made compulsory
3. In the same way, we saw some of the bowlers were getting hit on the head. Two things are recommended for them, immediately — one is the abdomen guard and the other is protection to their head & face. We do not want another Phil Hughes scenario getting enacted in the field.
4. Now, at least for all the international matches, we have the live TV relay. Instead of restricting the DRS to 2 calls, shall we follow the NBA/NFL/Soccer model? The on-field umpires can take the help of the off-field umpires as and when they want. This will slow down the game, but it is ok. This will help to cut down the error margin on the field by the umpires and be fair to both the teams
5. The games are becoming more aggressive and the bowlers are at the receiving end, literally & figuratively. The best bowler of the innings can be given an extra over. This will ease the pressure on the weakest bowler. It can be the Captain’s choice
