They say, like two mirrors, the Sastras and Brahma-Jnanis (realized souls) reflect each other; whatever is written in Sastras would have been experienced by the Jnani and whatever was the experience of the Jnanis would find a place in the Sastras. Sri Ramana Maharishi mentions such occassion, when he encounters the appropriate verses in the Sastra — like his favourite in Ribhu Geetha.

In another occassion, he had chosen 10 exclusive gems from Sivananda Lahari to explain the relevant concepts:

The worship of Lord Siva is widespread all across India. In fact, with the help of Jyothirlingas, one can draw a Spiritual map of India. There are many such groupings. One other is “PanchaRama Kshetrams”.

Pancharama is the name given to those five temples which are dedicated to Lord Shiva. These places are distributed over three districts, East Godavari, West Godavari and Guntur of Andhra Pradesh in India. All Hindus consider visiting these temples as very sacred. Pancha means five and Aarama is peace. Aarama is something related to Buddhism which is actually aims at pleasant state of mind. So Pancharama means five pleasant and peaceful places.
There are two stories related to Pancharama temples.
