Parthenogenesis: Parthenogenesis is a natural form of asexual reproduction in which growth and development of embryos occur without fertilization. In animals, parthenogenesis means development of an embryo from an unfertilized egg cell.

In the landscape of Vishnu temples, there are eight temples that comes under the category of Svayam-Vyaktha Kshetras. That means, the main Moorthis are not made by Humans, Devas, Rishis, Sages, Munis, Yogis etc. The Moorthis have emerged on their own.
