btw, if you have watched “House of Cards” , this is a below-par political drama. be that as it may, since we have a different issues in our hand to be dealt with;

The web series insulted Lord Siva on two counts, Your Honour! One the physical form (was it a cross on his face?) and the other, by degrading the glorious purpose behind his Tandav, due to their poor understanding.

Here are the 3 main players in this web drama and leave their religion to your guess. Can they do something like this on their Gods/prophets/symbols etc? Director — Ali Abbas Zafar Hero — Saif Ali Khan another main actor — Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub

I have a major problem with the name of the series itself. Somewhere in an interview by the creators of this series, I read that the name is associated with Lord Siva and destruction. If this is the idea of the Tandav creative team, sorry folks, you are wrongly informed.

Countless poems have been written by the great seers/Nayanmars on the dance aspect of Lord Siva in Tamil and other languages. Hope, some one from the creative team had read it. Looks like, they have not. Modern greats who have helped us to understand Indian arts,culture like Sri Ananda Coomaraswamy, Smt Kapila Vatsyayan have elaborated on this concept in greater details. Looks like, our creators of the series have not read it. Lord Siva, the king of dance, Natraja has performed countless dance/Tandav; of them , two stands out and adored by his devotees like me — Ananda Tandav & Rudra Tandav. They are associated with the creation and recycling aspect of the universe, souls etc. There is no malafide intention in the dance of our Lord and any Tandav is beneficial to one & all, including Tandav’s team.

You jokers, without understanding it, just nit-picked a particular aspect and named this web series that is totally destructive in its content. On that aspect alone, this web series should be banned.
