The wild chirping of the many birds singing together

Are you not able to hear it, devilish girl

their hands bedecked with bangles and other jewellery

The lovely scented cowherd maidens, with their mixers

can’t you hear the sounds as they churn the curds

Oh the Lord’s Girl, the embodiment of Narayana

who is Kesava ( Krishna), to sing his praise you are made

You are sleeping, please come and open the door my girl

1. In Patanjali yoga sutra, five modifications of mind are mentioned in the sutra # 10. Sleep or Nidra is one of the modifications that will make us to forget our atma-swaroopa. Here, the Gopika is suffering from sleep which made her to forget the experience of the matters related to God. That Gopika is woken up here

2. In the 6th song, a person who is new to such Goldy experience is woken up. Here, an hold hand, who has forgotten the experience is woken up

3. She is woken up by the pleasant chirping of the bird, which is equivalent to Hari, Hari mentioned in the previous song. It is none other than the Lord himself reminding the Gopika/Us about the association

4. Sri Ramana Maharishi mentions that the spiritual heart is different from the physical heart and it is right to the physical heart. In general, when we indicate ourselves, our hand with a pointed index finger touches the chest randomly at this part. This spiritual heart pulsates at all times beeping that “I am, I am” at all times. Due to ego and other factors, we have forgotten this (Most of the Indic systems has a convergence on such aspects couched in their own sampradaya’s language)

5. The clinging sound of jewellery is nothing but the combination of the sound of Tri Rahasyam — Om Namo Narayana and the other two mantras

6. The herd of Gopikas represents the lineage of Acharyas, who have had the studied the scriptures with the help of their intellect and with their experience arrived at the primal deity, Sriman Naryana who is the refuges of all
