How it can help us — Can we have a day without uttering lies, not getting angry, drop off pettiness etc?

1. Interestingly, mother refers to the 107th divyadesa, that is “ocean of milk” here. Nevertheless, she glorifies the life here, on earth, since the same Lord has manifested himself in multiple Archamoorthi/image forms for the benefit of his devotees

2. Like the yoga-sastras, here some prerequisites are stipulated by Mother before dwelling deep into practices. It is a combination of avoiding visibles and invisibles. In yogic language, they are called yama-niyama (dos and dontss with respect to us and society)

3. ஐயமும் பிச்சையும் : Here, equality is recommended by the commentators — fear/respect to the elders/saints and surrendering to them;and sharing with others/youngsters spiritually, who are also in the spiritual ladder and may need help

4. The word “பைய” indicates “slowness”; Here it is not indicating slow-sleeper but a light-sleeper or one who does not sleep at all (so that he can aid his devotees all the time and to sustain this universe, he does not sleep at all). This concept is called “Yoganidra”. It may also visually bring the glory of Lord krishna lightly floating on the leaf.
